TR Drivers Club National Weekend, 2009
Billing Aquadrome!

TR Drivers Club‘s national weekend is booked for 3rd 4th and 5th July 2009 at Billing Aquadrome. A National Weekend working group has been formed to organise the events during the weekend. Simon Bryan, Maggie Todd, Val MacMillan, Kev Todd and myself are the key contacts, and we will need a number of volunteers to help out at times during the weekend events, particularly on marshalling and bar staff.

If any of you can offer up some time during the weekend then let any of us know - the more volunteers step forward the lighter the load, all help will be gratefully received.

The key members are responsible for planning events both inside and outside the marquee, and their plans will be presented and finalised at the next committee meeting.

The dominant milestone for this year is the 40th Anniversary of the TR6 Chris Turner is organising a display of TR6s, along with James Johnson.

There will be the usual Saturday night events, including for the first time in years, a disco to close.

There will be the the ever-popular run on Saturday afternoon, and again - another first - we are adding the option of a smaller run on the Sunday depending on the take up, as people coming to the event only on the Sunday always miss out.

Plans are still moving apace and I’m sure there will be lots to do, I’ve a feeling that this one is going to be good so don’t miss it... with or without a TR.
