- 1981 Persian Aqua/Blue Check Trim, 2 Litre (Genuine 65,000 Miles) Somewhat unique in that this car was laid up in 1992, where it remained until last year, having covered only 65,000 miles from new. My predecessor, who was only the third owner, provided a full history of the car and work carried out. I had the car fully re-commisioned and various works carried out, including replacement water pump, viscous fan coupling, clutch master cylinder, and other parts in addition. I have invoices going back to 1987! More details on request. The interior is completely original, with no damage to upholstery, or wear marks to carpets. Current owner for over 23 years: bought while working in the USA for BL and personally re-imported on return in 1991, when it gained a very nice 1980 Coventry registration mark (NAC 33V). Persian Aqua with blue check interior and original black roof. 5 speed manual; air conditioning; power steering; genuine Triumph trunk (boot) rack and radio/cassette. Rimmer’s stainless twin exhaust (original catalysts and air pump retained). Big history file and Heritage Certificate. A few spares. Kept in heated garage with dry use only. years ago. Recon gearbox and much money spent on full re-spray. Overall condition is (I would say) exceptional. Engine runs very sweetly and ticks far better than most I have seen. Been off the road and
