At the TR Driver’s Club, it is believed that we should cater more for the children (aged birth to 16) of our members. After all, they are potentially the
next generation of TR owners and of course future club members. Also, it will benefit members who have children and find it impossible to attend current meetings because of family commitments.
So, we have come up with the idea of introducing the “TR Junior” Club.
Membership will be free for the children of club members and it is envisaged that membership will include:
- a “Junior” newsletter with our magazine, to include items such as: write ups from the children about events/things they have done with their parents
involving TRs, competitions, a quiz, a penpal column, pictures to colour in, etc, etc.
- their own regalia items
- extra events at the National Weekend
- additional area meetings to be held in child friendly places at the weekend
- certificate of membership
- Of course we are open to suggestions that will make the scheme more enjoyable for them AND you. Let us have your ideas.
To be able to get the scheme off the ground, we would need at least 50 children to participate. So if you have a child/children that would like to
join the “TR Junior” Club, then complete and return the TR Juniors Membership Form (MS Word Document) form to me. Please use a separate form for each child – photocopies are accepted. The form should be returned to:

If your child wishes to put together an article, painting, drawing, etc now, it would be a great help towards getting the first newsletter off the ground.
For instance, I know of a boy and girl who’s Dad’s TR8 recently appeared on Blue Peter – perhaps they would like to do something .
